Michel Peterson, CVT (1998) Hospital Manager
Michel grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and attended Waunakee Schools. After High School she enrolled in the Veterinary Technician Program at Madison Area Technical College, graduating in 1994 with an Associates Degree, becoming Certified that same year. After working in a couple of different clinics in Madison, she found herself at the Animal Hospital of Sun Prairie in 1998, and has been here ever since! She has 3 cats; Thunder, October and Blizzard, and a Tarantula, and shares 2 black labs, Cleo and Abe, with her boyfriend. She currently lives in Token Creek. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and his children, their cabin in northern Wisconsin, time in the outdoors and the sun, boating, dog parks, reading, gardening and working on website construction for the Animal Hospital of Sun Prairie. |
Amanda O'Haver, CVT (2007)
Amanda just graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at MATC in May 2009. She has been working here as a veterinary and kennel assistant since 2007, and we are excited to add her as a technician now! Amanda grew up in Mukwonago and also attended Carroll College for 2 years before moving here. She lives in Sun Prairie with her boyfriend, a snake, a bearded dragon, pet rats, and 4 cats Jessie, Missy, Isabell, and Brooks. |

Susan Lawler, CVT (2008)
Susan grew up in Mesa, Arizona, and recently moved to Sun Prairie from Aloha, Oregon with her husband John and 2 sons. She worked in the veterinary dermatology field for 10 years, becoming certified in 2003. She has an English Setter; Maggie, a cat; Simon and leopard frogs that her family watched grow from tadpoles. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching zombie movies, gardening, hiking, and camping with the family. |
Sara Darr, Veterinary Assistant (2009)
Sara recently graduated from MATC's Veterinary Technician program and is eagerly awaiting the national exam to become certified! Sara grew up in Little Suamico, WI and attended Oconto High School. She enjoys sports, and spending time with family and friends. She has 3 cats, Kalob, Jack and Captain; and a dog, Willie. |
