Our Boarding Kennel Assistants

We normally have High School or College Students working part-time in our boarding kennels daily to keep them clean and the pets well cared-for.  They are able to give your pet the attention it needs while away from home, whether its for a couple of hours or 2 weeks.  Our staff can medicate and monitor your pet and report any problems to us.  Many of them plan to go on to careers in the Pet Care field.


Todd Stringer

Todd Stringer (2004)

Todd has been with us for a few years, first part-time in High School, and now full-time, as the kennel manager.  We are very sad (but happy for him) that he will be leaving us in the fall of 2008 to attend college.  He currently lives in Sun Prairie, where he grew up.  He enjoys spending time with his ferret, and a new kitten.

Ryan Rodenkirch (2008)

Welcome Ryan!  Ryan is currently a senior (just graduated! June ,08!) at Sun Prairie High School.  He will attend UW Stevens Point in the fall, focusing on studies in Natural Resources.  He lives in Sun Prairie with this mom and dad and younger sister.  They raise Old English Sheepdogs, and have a tarantula named Webster.  He is an avid hunter, fisherman, and football player.

Tara G. and Cobalt

Tara Hamilton (2005)

Tara grew up on a farm in Westfield, Wi and now lives in Sun Prairie with her new husband, Spencer.  She is a recent graduate of UW-Platteville with hopes of attending UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine soon.  Pictured here with her dog, Cobalt, she also has a Lab, Onyx.

Morgan Maly (2008)

Morgan grew up in Deforest and gradutated from Sun Prairie High School.  She spent 2 years at Colorado College and has transferred to UW - Madison for the rest of her college career.  She hopes to attend UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.  She has a Golden Retreiver named Dakota, and in her spare time enjoys playing soccer, walking the dog, hiking and snowboarding, and spending time with animals.
